A message from the Baltimore Chapter President

Baltimore NACE

Exciting Changes for 2018!

I hope everyone enjoyed the Holidays and had a very productive and successful 2017!

As we head into 2018, I wanted to let everyone know how much I value your commitment and dedication to the Baltimore Chapter of NACE.   We have an amazing dedicated Board this year and we have made it our mission to bring you more value, more interactive education and show member value this year.   I will be working hard with our 2018 Board to bring these values to you this year.

We need your input as well to make sure we are doing this to your standards!   Please contact me however you are comfortable with (email or phone) as I am here to listen.   We have ideas but it will take us time to implement them moving forward.

We know there have been some disappointments with education over the past few years, and we have heard this.   As we move into the 2018, you will see new venues, new education as well as some previous interactive education which members enjoyed years in the past.

We will continue the Networking Happy Hours as well as Quarterly Member Benefit events (the crab feast will be back this summer!).

We moved the inductions into December from January so our 2018 Board would be fully committed beginning this month.   As we head into February,  we have a informal happy hour scheduled for February 12 at Pie in the Sky in Fells Point, from 5 to 7 pm. And don't forget to register for what is typically the biggest meeting of the year:  What's Hot and What's Not, at the Sagamore Pendry, on February 19.  Seats are limited, so please register soon.

We are still looking for submissions for our four (4) Chapter Award nominations!   I know with the Holidays, this may have been over looked, but please take the time to recognize your peers and friends!

1.       Rising Star

2.       Member of the Year

3.       Arthur Remanjon Inspirational Member of the Year

4.       Noble Award

You should have received the nomination forms via email in January.  Let me know if you would like them sent to you again.

Thank you again for your continued support and we are here at your service!
